Navilawa Village

An upper mountain village in the Koroyanitu Range, Ba. Navilawa is one of the last villages in its region to refrain from river rock extraction and land clearing. Although this village has historically been a farming community, they have mastered the art of paper flower making using masi bark (tapa) and more recently learning hand printing onto canvas.
